"Dance always talks about love. For the outstanding Czech choreographer Jiří Kylián, dance is also a clash: of bodies, emotions, sexes. Of rhythm and movement. Of human physics and metaphysics of music. There are no losers here. Kylián employs classical dance, which, however, he perceives in a very individual, even revolutionary way. From dancers he demands dynamics, gymnastic fitness, fluidity, thoroughly contemporary expression."
